Technical description
The EAntenna Yagis with LFA dipole are characterized by particularly low noise. This is achieved by the low impedance and in-phase fed dipole, which lies flat on the boom. This design results in fewer sidelobes and side lobes that could pick up terrestrial noise. The dipole is clamped directly to the coax cable, no balun is needed, thus there is no power limitation.
Application description
- The short 3-element Yagi is unobtrusive and lightweight. Due to the large aperture angle it is very well suited for band observation, for example for beacons.
- The relatively short 4-element Yagi still fits well on any mast, it is inconspicuous and light. Due to the large aperture angle, it is very well suited for band observation, for example for beacons.
- The 5-element Yagi is with 3.4m length still relatively small, but offers a good gain. It is a good compromise between space and performance.
- The 6-element Yagi offers good gain on a 5.4m boom that does not yet require a guy.
- The 7-element Yagi offers the highest gain of EAntenna's 4m antennas, ideal for long-range traffic. With guy wires included.
